Ukraine: What we know about Zelensky

Ukraine’s presidential election run off on 21 April will be between comedian and TV personality Volodymyr Zelensky and incumbent Petro Poroshenko.
This follows the first-round vote on Sunday that Zelensky won with c30% of the vote. Although not enough to win outright, he commanded a larger-than-expected lead over Poroshenko, who was in second place on 16% (see our previous flash report here for details).

Zelensky, therefore, has a very strong chance of becoming Ukraine's next President, barring a late surge in support for Poroshenko over the next three weeks...
